Creating Membership Levels with Tiered Pricing in 2025

It’s been nearly 5 years since I established prices for my livestream + recordings platform, and since then it seems like the price of just about everything (except my yoga classes) has increased. It's always been incredibly important to me that no one be excluded from yoga, and so I’ve kept my pricing accessible.

These last few years have been unpredictable to say the least, and for some, money is tighter than it used to be.

I tend to underprice my services, not because I don’t believe in myself or my value, but because I want everyone to be able to come to class!  Some students may be financially robust and others may be drained, due to all sorts of circumstances. I want to be able to work with all kinds of people – including artists, other teachers, retirees, and students who may be on disability. 

It’s often when we don’t have the resources to invest in our well-being that we need those tools the most. I’ve been considering offering tiered pricing for my memberships for awhile, but struggled to unravel the logistics.

The Price of Practice

I researched local yoga studio pricing and found that drop-ins at most studios these days are around $30. Unlimited memberships are $169 - 249. 

By teaching online I can keep the costs of membership below the brick and mortar studios, and still offer you top notch teaching and experiences that benefit your well-being. You can help out by choosing a tier that fits your circumstances - and consider helping others in the community. 

Tiered Pricing 

Take some time to reflect on what you are able to pay and choose the best fit for you. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford, as this helps to support those fellow practitioners who need to pay less, or who may be experiencing financial hardship.

Mixed Level Membership (auto-renewal) 

Benefactor – $90/mth (covers your enrollment + supports your peers)

Standard – $75/mth (covers your enrollment)

Accessible – $60/mth (receives peer support)

Mixed + Specialty Class Membership (auto-renewal)

Benefactor – $128/mth

Standard – $108/mth

Accessible – $95/mth

Schedule

Mixed Level Classes:

Sacred Sunday, 9-10:30 am

Tuesday Evening Wind Down, 6-7:30 pm

Thursday Morning Mix, 9:30-11 am

Specialty Classes:

Friday Living Well /Therapeutics, 9-10 am

Friday Deep Yoga /Intermediate, 1-2:30 pm
